Visit with Santa at the Elfinwild Fire Station for your holiday photos, and enjoy hot chocolate with marshmallows, too! Pets are welcome!

SANTA SAFETY

Please, do not approach moving fire apparatus. Wait for the fire engine to come to a complete stop and look for directions from Santa’s Helpers.

Times, dates, and neighborhoods are planned, but weather and emergency calls may delay Santa’s travels.

Santa Visit FAQs

Q: We saw the fire engine coming down our street, and it turned away!

A: At Santa’s Workshop, there are computer elves that use special maps to determine our best routes. On some streets, we will return later. On others, we may be back on another day.

Q: Why doesn’t Elfinwild bring Santa to my neighborhood?

A: Elfinwild takes Santa to nearly every street in our entire fire district area. Your house or street may be in another fire company’s district.

Q: What if I miss Santa?

A: You can visit Santa at the fire station for photos and cocoa. Some even bring their four-legged family members for photos, too. Please see the schedule above. (You don’t have to live in Elfinwild’s Fire District to visit at the fire station.

Q: Who are Santa’s Helpers?

A: Often, Mrs. Claus and an elf or two make the rounds with Santa. The rest of the crew and drivers are firefighters. (An interesting fact, our drivers get practice driving the fire apparatus around the entire district. We can see what streets are a bit smaller, and we also keep an eye out for things that the firefighters might need to know in an emergency. By the way, stay off the naughty list by keeping fire hydrants clear of snow in the winter!)

Q: I saw one of the elves throw something into a yard, What was it?

A: Most certainly, the elf saw a doggo and tossed a treat. Elves are like that!

Q: What if there’s a fire? What does Santa do?

A: We do have to remain available for emergencies. If we have to go on a call, Santa is secure in the fire engine until we can return to the neighborhoods.

Sometime, Santa even helps. He’s pretty handy if there is a chimney emergency :-)

Q: Can I make a donation?

A: Elfinwild Fire Co. depends on donations from the public, however, Santa and his helpers cannot accept donations. If you would like to donate, please see one of the firefighters. Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the elves may accept a cookie or two, if they are wrapped to go!
